Charles L. McKinnon, MSgt., USAF, Ret., age 65, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2012. He was born March 29, 1947 in Belfast, Maine to the late Daniel and Alice McKinnon; also preceded in death by his son Michael B. McKinnon and a brother Myron McKinnon. Chuck was proud to be an American and passionate about everything that this country was built upon. He loved nature and all that God created. Chuck was an accomplished electrician. He is survived by his special friend, Mary Dittler, Reynoldsburg; first wife, Eileen McKinnon, Columbus; daughter, Chrissy (Brian) Morgan, Thornville; grandchildren, A.J. DeSanto, Blake Morgan, Cara Woods, J.R. Woods, Kayla McKinnon, Ian McKinnon, Austin McKinnon; and great-grandson, Michael M. McKinnon; brother, Daniel (Mary) McKinnon, Belfast, Maine; sisters, Jayne Kapala, Tewksburgy, Mass., Mary (Robert) Guilbeault, Dracut, Mass., Irene (David) Miles, Fitchburg, Mass.; Special extended family including Mary's children, Barry Wood and Michelle Wood; Michelle's daughter, Erika Briley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 and 12-1 p.m. Saturday, at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E.
